Frequently asked questions about our Stagnone Kitesurfing Center
The Stagnone lagoon boasts characteristics that make it the sport for easy and quick learning of kitesurfing and progression to more advanced levels. In particular:
- Water conditions
With the total absence of chop and strong currents, the shallow waters make everything easier and allow you to make the most of even the days with very little wind. With 10 knots, it is already possible to tack. The shallow water throughout the Lagoon allows you to optimize time and energy during workouts. No more minutes and minutes spent in body drag to recover the board lost at every mistake or fall. You just need a few steps to put the twin-tip back on at the feet. The ability to touch also allows you to raise the level of safety.
Thanks to these conditions, the instructor can always be on your side. Intervene at any time for the entire duration of the course. The flat makes the Lagoon ideal for freestyle and big air training.
- Wind conditions
In Stagnone, the wind blows with an average of 300 days a year. You won’t have to worry about waiting for the winds onshore here. You can train in any direction.
The best quantity, frequency, and characteristics are the north wind, the sirocco, and the libeccio.
The thermal component, omnipresent during the summer, is the other great advantage of the Stagnone that can offer endless days of kitesurfing.
